June 13, Fineko/abc.az.  An event on the occasion of June 15 – National Salvation Day which is the embodiement of rescue mission of the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev held at State Migration Service.

At first, Heydar Aliyev Museum of State Migration Service was visited, a wreath was laid in front of the bust of the great leader and his dear memory was commemorated with the deepest respect.

Chief of State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov mentioned the exceptional role of the founder of independent Republic of Azerbaijan, the unprecedented historical services of National leader Heydar Aliyev, his role as an author in making our nation's independence desire come true and his exceptional roles in the country's political and socio-economic development strategy. He noted that the return of prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993 with the insistent demand of the people was engraved with golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan. The great leader rescued his country from the threat of civil war, destruction and collapse by the help of his wisdom, rich political and statehood experience, indestructible determination and invincible will. 

V.Huseynov highlighted that all the achievements that Azerbaijan gained after acquiring its independence bound to the name of the great person Heydar Aliyev. The years when the great leader Heydar Aliyev was in power have been written to the country's modern history as a period of social and economic upheaval. Azerbaijan, which the great leader and Azerbaijan would like to see , has become a reality today and by the way of Heydar Aliyev is stepping forward to a higher level of development. Great leader Heydar Aliyev's rich efforts who has devoted all his meaningful life to his nation as a political leader and statesman has become a real public administration school, leaving a deep trace in the history of Azerbaijani people.  Every success in the domestic and foreign policy of our country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who is a worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev's political course is the triumph of the ideas of national progress that the Great Leader has entrusted to.

Deputy Chief of State Migration Service Parviz Musayev delivered speech at the event held at the assembly hall of the Service. He noted that the achievements gained by the National leader Heydar Aliyev's far-sighted policy have resulted in national unity throughout the country and strengthening of solidarity among Azerbaijanis throughout the world. This, in return, has inspired our compatriots living in different countries of the world to create a solid foundation for their closer co-existence on the national interests of our country.

The event ended with a demonstration of "Salvation" film about the life and activity of National leader Heydar Aliyev.
