20 families to be resettled in liberated village Talish on 16 March

March 15, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting was held with families who at the initial stage will be resettled in village Talish of Terter district, liberated from occupation.

The State Committee for Refugees & IDPs informs that Emin Huseynov, President’s Special Representative in the territories liberated from occupation that are part of the Karabakh Economic Region (with the exception of Shusha region), said when delivering speech at the meeting that on the basis of president’s instructions, after liberation from occupation, construction and restoration works were carried out in village Talish, new houses were built, the necessary infrastructure was created.

Committee’s Repatriation Department conducted a draw among 20 families who will be resettled in Talish village on the basis of principles of transparency and fairness. As a result of the draw, the address of the house to be provided to each of the families is determined. 15 of them are three-room, 1 two-room and 4 four-room private houses.

20 families to be resettled in Talish village are living today in Baku, Barda, Terter, Samukh and Geranboy, mainly in temporary accommodation, in difficult conditions, in emergency homes. They will move to new homes on the eve of the Novruz holiday, March 16.
