Azerbaijan Railways replaces turnout switches


June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of 600 km of Baku – Beyuk-Kesik railway line.

ADY reports that parallel installation of new turnout switches at the railway stations has been underway since September 2016 by Specialized Railway Enterprises #5 and #11.

The first such turnout switch was installed on 9 September 2016, and to date 170 switches have been replaced.

Capital repairs of four switches at railway stations Gobustan and Hajigabul is ongoing. The work will be carried out in stages. The process is fulfilled by the team of Specialized Railway Enterprise #5.
