March 30, Fineko/abc.az. Upon the discovery of an archaeological monument on the territory of the Shusha City State Reserve Department, the authority to make a decision on the continuation of suspended works is terminated.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the changes made by presidential decree to the Decree "On the establishment of the Shusha City State Reserve Department".

Under the decree, now the Shusha City State Reserve Department will be authorized to make a decision on further work suspended in case of discovery of the monument during construction, restoration, repair, cleaning, landscaping, farming or any other work on the territory.

Changes have also been made to the procedure for stopping construction work in the reserve. Under the decree, if cultural heritage objects are found during construction work on the territory of the city of Shusha, the work carried out is immediately stopped, as reported to the Shusha City State Reserve Department.
