Information Security Service’s dept head: Passwords of citizens in mygov hacked

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. We constantly monitor and see that many users in Azerbaijan have their passwords hacked and even go on sale.

ABC.AZ reports that Tural Mammadov, the department head of the State Special Communications & Information Security Service, informed the press about this.
"For example, if the password the user uses in mygov is for sale, should we include this attack in the statistics as an attack on mygov or as a cyber attack on a citizen? When these passwords go on sale, they are sold as government information. Whereas this is data received from the user, and not from this system," Mammadov stressed.
