Azerbaijan sharply increases citrus exports

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 759.2 tons of citrus fruits for Jan-Mar 2023, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Ministry stressed that this indicator increased 10.8-fold year-on-year.

"The export indicator in value terms grew 6.6-fold against Jan-Mar 2022 up to $619,700," the Ministry said.

By the end of 2022, the value of agricultural products exported by Azerbaijan increased by 3.2% versus 2021 and exceeded $1.14 bn.

In 2022, the country exported 396,000 tons of fruits (5.6% higher than in 2021).
