April 20, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published statistics of foreigners who visited Azerbaijan for Jan-Mar. 

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Q1 of 2022, the number of arrivals from India grew 5.4-fold, Turkmenistan 4.2-fold, Uzbekistan 4.1-fold, China 3.6-fold, Belarus 3.4-fold, Kazakhstan 2.3-fold, Pakistan 2-fold, the Russian Federation 1.8-fold, Israel 1.7-fold, the USA 1.5-fold, Georgia by 45.2%, UK by 40.6%, Oman by 38.5%, Kuwait by 32.4%, Türkiye by 30.2%, and the UAE by 28%.

Compared with Jan-Mar 2022, the number of arrivals from the CIS countries increased 1.8-fold up to 151,400 people, from the EU member states by 40.1% up to 15,200 people, from the Persian Gulf countries by 1.5% up to 59,100 people.
63.2% of foreigners and stateless persons who arrived in Azerbaijan came by air, 35.3% by rail and by road, and 1.5% by sea.
