April 28, Fineko/abc.az. The British Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is looking for someone to work for 13 months on one of the most remote islands in the world.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that this place of work is located on Gough Island, which connects to England in the South Atlantic Ocean.

There is no permanent population in the specified territory. There is no airport on the island, which is about 2,400 km from the African continent, so a seven-day cruise trip from South Africa is required.

Currently, 7 full-time employees and 8 million birds live on the island.

The RSPB has published a vacancy announcement for hiring a new field official with annual salary of 25,000 to 27,000 pounds (about 53,000 manats).
