ABC.AZ reports that Shahmar Movsumov, the presidential adviser on economic issues, stated about this during his speech at international conference "The Formation of large Eurasian geopolitics: from the past to the present and the future".

"Over the past 20 years, Azerbaijan's GDP has increased 3.6-fold, and investments in the economy 4-fold. The country received more than $300 bn of investments from various sectors. Any numbers are measured in times, not percentages. The foundation of this was laid by Heydar Aliyev, and at present this work is being continued by Ilham Aliyev," Movsumov said.
