May 4, Fineko/abc.az. The new electronic real estate insurance system in Azerbaijan will be launched in the near future.

ABC.AZ reports that the new system will simplify the process of property insurance and allow better control over whether the property is insured or not.

Currently one of the directions in the field of compulsory insurance in Azerbaijan is housing and house insurance.

Until now, this area was considered important from angle of expanding the insurance market, but the earthquake in Türkiye on February 6 and its severe consequences, in particular, the risk that most of the destroyed houses will not be paid for because of lack of insurance, prompted the government to accelerate work in this area.
