May 11, Fineko/abc.az. Clashes on the conditional Armenian-Azerbaijani border are intensifying.

ABC.AZ reports that the Armenian side is actively using barrage ammunition (kamikaze drones) against the positions of the Azerbaijani army, five powerful explosions have been recorded at the moment.

According to primary data, speech may be about Iranian-made drones.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan states that the units of the Armenian Armed Forces are expanding their provocations.

On the evening of May 10, units of the Armenian armed forces from positions in the direction of the Zod settlement of Basarkechyar district subjected the opposing positions of the Azerbaijani army to intense firing from various types of small arms, deliberately committing a provocation.

As a result of targeted fire from the opposite side, a serviceman of the long-term active military service of the Azerbaijani army, Muslyum Mahmudlu, was seriously wounded in the head. The wounded serviceman was immediately taken to a military medical facility.

Since the morning of May 11, the Armenian armed forces, further escalating the situation, have been firing mortars at the positions of the Azerbaijani army from positions in the direction of Zod settlement of Basarkechyar district.

“In order to expand the provocations committed, the units of the Armenian Armed forces continue to fire at our positions using large-caliber guns and mortars. The units of the Azerbaijani Army are taking decisive retaliatory measures,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informs.
