Foreign direct investments in Chinese economy increased by 2.2%

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. The foreign direct investments in the Chinese economy amounted to 499.46 bn yuans for Jan-Apr 2023 (2.2% more against Jan-Apr 2022), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.

Meanwhile, in dollar terms, this figure fell by 3.3% to $73.5 bn.

According to the report, investments in the manufacturing sector increased by 4.1% and in the high-tech sector by 12.8%.

Over Jan-Apr, France's direct investments in China grew 6.7-fold, the UK - 4.2 times, Japan by 68%, South Korea almost by 31%.
