Volkswagen sold its assets in Russia

May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Volkswagen Concern has sold Russian assets to Art-Finance LLC, part of Avilon dealer holding, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the automaker.

The company completed a deal on the sale of shares in Russian representative office Volkswagen Group Rus LLC, including local subsidiaries (Volkswagen Components & Service LLC, Scania Leasing LLC, Scania Finance LLC, Scania Insurance LLC).

The deal was approved by the Russian state authorities. Its perimeter includes VW's production facilities in Kaluga, the importer's infrastructure (distribution and after-sales business), as well as warehousing and financial services.
