Number of foreigners coming to Azerbaijan has increased 1.6-fold

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. 522,900 foreigners and stateless persons from 168 countries of the world arrived in Azerbaijan over Jan-Apr 2023 (1.6-fold more against Jan-Apr 20220, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

31.7% of arrivals are from the Russian Federation, 20.9% - from Türkiye, 8.4% - from Iran, 5.5% - from Georgia, 5% - from India, 2.3% - from Pakistan, 2.2% - UAE, 2% - Kazakhstan, 1.8% - Uzbekistan, 1.7% - Saudi Arabia, according to 1.6% - Ukraine and Belarus, 1.3% - Turkmenistan, 1.2% - Kuwait, 12.8% were citizens of other countries.

Men made up 75.8% and women 24.2% of arrivals.
