May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani insurance company Xalq Sığorta has published the report on premiums and compensation payments for Jan-Apr 2023.

ABC.AZ informs that the report shows that the situation for the company this year is not encouraging at all. Thus, the trend of decline on company's premiums continued for this period.

Over Jan-Apr 2023 the insurer gathered premiums for AZN 8.865 million (AZN 3.26 million, or 27% less against Jan-Apr 2022).

The company paid insurance compensations for totally AZN 8.278 million for the past 4 months. Compared with Jan-Apr 2022, the compensation payments were 4% higher.

Xalq Sığorta was established in 2004. Its authorized capital is AZN 58.75 million.
