May 24, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of bonds placed at par amounted to AZN 2.507 bn in 2022. The State Budget received AZN 2.406 bn on the placed bonds, of which AZN 838.4 million (principal debt) were returned on bonds issued in previous years.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on the Bill on the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022 and the annual report on the execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022.

Of the remaining AZN 1.568 bn, AZN 976.3 million were allocated to finance the budget deficit, and AZN 592 million were converted to repay the principal amount of the external public debt.
