June 28, Fineko/abc.az. Cost of a barrel of Azerbaijan's oil Azeri Light has increased by $2.7 (3.54%).

The price of oil grade Azeri Light is now $78.95 a barrel.

The lowest price for Azeri Light was fixed in December 2001 - $19.15 and highest price in July 2008 - $149.66.

At the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX) following the trading the value of August’s futures of oil grade WTI, compared to last closing of trading (June 26 - $70.53 a barrel), grew by $2.23 (3.16%) up to $72.76 a barrel.

At the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) following the trading, the cost of August’s futures of oil grade of Brent crude, compared to last closing of trading (June 26 - $76.31 a barrel), increased by $1.31 (1.72%) up to $77.62 a barrel.

The price gap between Brent and WTI following trading on June 27 is $4.86 on a barrel.
