Türkiye’s central bank to announce interest rate decision

May 25, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye will be held under the chairmanship of Shahap Kavjioglu.

ABC.AZ reports that the decision on the interest rate will be announced at 15:00 on Baku time. The bank is expected to keep the fixed discount rate at 8.5%.

Economists involved in the survey expect that the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBTR) will keep its policy rate unchanged at the meeting. All economists assume that the policy interest rate will remain stable at 8.50%.
