May 25, Fineko/abc.az. Ensuring access of legal entities to the purchase and sale of Central Bank notes allowed companies to properly store their funds.

In its statement made to ABC.AZ, expert Intigam Safaraliyev said that CBA’s notes brought an income of 9.5% to legal entities.

He noted that the Central Bank, which is the issuer of the manat, also issues notes with nominal value of 10,000 manats: "If we take the manat and notes as financial assets, the notes have several differences from the manat. First of all, it should be noted that it is possible to buy and sell manat through banks, as well as to buy and sell notes through investment companies. The manat does not bring profit to companies during this time. And storing funds in notes gives legal entities an income of 8-9.5% per annum. From the frequent purchase and sale of notes, you can get an income of 2-3% per month. The notes have maturity date, and on the last day of this period, the Central Bank transfers 10,000 manats for each note to the account of the owner of the note."
