May 30, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tourism Agency has approved the Criteria for Hotel Evaluating by Stars.

ABC.AZ reports that points on the criteria are awarded if the hotel fully complies with these requirements.

Hotel Association’s executive director Gunay Saglam said that to date 100 hotels have applied for certification, but not all have received certificates.

Tourism expert Fariz Bashirov noted that as a result of the application of these criteria, prices in the hotel market will change. In particular, hotels that offer a higher price than the services they provide will become cheaper.

Entrepreneurs will be forced to apply the price corresponding to the received star certificate.
