May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Looking at some economic indicators, I noticed that our trade turnover is more than $1.7 bn, which is a significant indicator. But I think in the coming years we need to try to diversify our trade turnover.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this in a press statement after meeting with Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog in an expanded format.

Expressing a hope that implementation of joint projects will further balance the trade turnover, the head of state noted: "It will depend not only on the energy factor, although for many years Azerbaijan continues to be considered a reliable supplier of crude oil to Israel. This is also an indicator of close cooperation in the energy sector."
