Oil price goes down, and Brent is at $73.54 a barrel

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades keep on falling at Wednesday's auction after a sharp drop the day before.

The price of August Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by $0.17 (0.23%) to $73.54 per barrel by 09:06 am. Following the trading on May 30, Brent crude futures for August dropped by $3.39 (4.40%) to $73.71 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for July on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:06 declined by $0.18 (0.26%) to $69.28 per barrel. Following the trading on May 30, the price of July WTI oil futures decreased by $3.50 (4.80%) to $69.46 per barrel.
