May 31, Fineko/abc.az. State Budget transfers for education in 2023 have been reduced by AZN 15.939 million, or 0.4%, from AZN 4.42 bn to AZN 4.407 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the draft amendments to the Law on State Budget 2023.

According to the document, expenditures on preschool education (AZN 404.836 million), general education (AZN 2.099 bn), vocational education (AZN 64.168 million), secondary special education (AZN 86.714 million), higher education (AZN 70.606 million), additional education expenses (AZN 11.84 million), applied research in the field of education (AZN 6.887 million). Expenditures on other institutions and activities in the field of education are reduced by AZN 15.939 million or 0.9%, from AZN 1.678 bn to AZN 1.663 bn.
