Oil price grows, and Brent is at $77.00 a barrel

June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Monday’s trading after decline following the past week.

The price of August Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.87 (1.14%) to $77.00 per barrel by 09:26 am. Following the trading on June 2, Brent crude futures for August rose by $1.85 (2.49), to $76.13 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for July on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:26 grew by $0.89 (1.24%) to $72.63 per barrel. Following the trading on June 2, the price of July WTI oil futures increased by $1.64 (2.34%) to $71.74 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent crude oil fell by 1.10% and WTI by 1.28%.
