June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Closing banks is a sensitive issue for me, too.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov said this during his speech at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"There are problematic banks that damage the entire financial sector. Regardless of the volume. As a former banker and chairman of the Central Bank, I would not like to close banks and insurance companies. In organizations where there are big problems, work must be done, if not, they need to be closed," Kazimov stated.
