In May, China's exports fell by 7.5%

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. China's exports in May decreased by 7.5% year-on-year and amounted to $283.5 bn. This is the first decrease in the indicator in the last 3 months.

ABC.AZ reports that according to TradingEconomics, analysts on average predicted a decrease of only 0.4%.

Imports declined by 4.5% to $217.69 bn. At that, the indicator dropped for the 3rd month in a row.

Experts expected a sharper drop in imports - by 8%.
