June 7, Fineko/abc.az.  Over 35,000 families to be moved to liberated territories by 2027.

ABC.AZ reports that Emin Huseynov, President’s Special Representative in the territories liberated from occupation, which are part of the Karabakh economic region (with the exception of the Shusha region), told journalists in Shusha.

According to Huseynov, projects to restore infrastructure in the liberated territories of the country continue.

“Our citizens have already been resettled in three settlements in these territories and live well there. By the end of 2026, it is planned to resettle 34,500 families. This is reflected in the State Program for the Great Return to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation," Huseynov said.

He noted that all returned citizens are provided with the necessary comfortable conditions for life and work.
