Baku Metro carried over 20 million passengers in May

June 9, Fineko/abc.az. In May 2023, 20.48 million passengers used the services of Baku Metro CJSC, including 566,346 passengers free of charge, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku Metro.

Over the past month, on average 646,719 passengers were served daily. Most of all passengers were transported on May 1 (779,124 people) and the least - on May 14 (349,078 people).

In May 2023, passengers used the metro by 6.4% less versus May 2019, and by 10.7% more than in May 2022.

Over Jan-May 2023, the Baku metro transported 96.784 million passengers (6.9% less versus Jan-May 2019 and 12.4% more against Jan-May 2022).
