Distributing of official obligations to be introduced in Tax Ministry’s administration from July

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The new structure of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan begins to operate from 1 July.

The Ministry reports that Tax Minister’s new order says about the amendments to the functional activity and distribution of official obligations of the structural units of the Ministry.

"From July the Tax Ministry’s administration will include the Secretariat on consideration of citizen appeal & work with documents, the Tax Audit Department, the Department of Economic Analysis & Examination, the Tax Policy Department, the Department of Control of Execution of Tax Obligations, Department of Taxpayer Services, the Department of Control of State Registration & Accounting, the Department of Control of Bilateral & Multilateral Agreements, the Department of Coordination of Activity of Local Bodies, the Department of Digital Tax Administration, the Human Resources Department, the Finance Department, the Internal Security Department, and the Center for Media & Communication," the Ministry said.

Within the framework of the reforms, optimization of other structural divisions and functional obligations was carried out.

"The purpose of the reforms in the Ministry’s administration is to ensure transparency in its activity, direct tax administration to creation of favorable business environment, expansion of activity in the field of combating corruption and other negative facts," the Ministry said in a statement.
