Azerbaijan’s national water operator Azersu has summarized the results of activity for the past 9 months.

The water-supplying company reports that it supplied 191 million cu m of water to the consumers over Jan-Sept of the year.

"During the reporting period we constructed water and sewerage lines with total length of over 800 km and drilled six artesian wells,” Azersu said in a statement.

As a result of the measures Azersu has taken, 90,000 people have been provided with centralized water supply for the first time and water supply of 152,000 consumers improved.

"Thus, the level of uninterrupted water supply increased up to 66.3% in the country and up to 81.1% in Baku," Azersu informed.
