Azerbaijan and Turkey to sign a preferential trade agreement

Azerbaijan and Turkey are in talks for signing a preferential trade agreement.

In the course of the Azerbaijan-Turkey business forum in the city of Igdir, Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev of Azerbaijan stated that a significant growth of trade turnover between the two countries was observed for Jan-Sept of the year.

"Currently, negotiations are underway on the Preferential Trade Agreement. More than 3,000 investors are operating now in Azerbaijani and about 2,000 Azerbaijani ones in Turkey. Turkey’s investments in Azerbaijan amount to $11.7 billion and Azerbaijan’s ones in Turkey $10.1 billion," the minister emphasized.
