July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has met with members of the Association of Wine Producers & Exporters.

The Ministry of Economy informs that during the meeting Minister Mustafayev stated that comprehensive and consistent measures are being taken to support production and export of wine.

"About 45% of export promotion falls on wines and other alcoholic drinks. With the purpose to develop and promote winemaking, it is planned to open wine houses in Shanghai, and then in Beijing and other cities of China, as well as in Russia," the minister said.

The meeting participants discussed the tasks arising from the Azerbaijan State Winemaking Program 2018-25, their implementation, production of wine products and the possibility of export growth.
