August 10, Fineko/abc.az. According to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, currently, water richness holds 100-110% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus, 40-100% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 50-130% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers and 5% in Nakhchivan AR.

Current condition in the transit rivers

On August 10, no change in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 52m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 39% of decade norm (in 2017, 50m3/sec, i.e 38% of decade norm. 8cm increase in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption hold 53m3/sec, i.e 76% of decade norm (in 2017, 11,5m3/sec, i.e 76% of decade norm).

Current condition in the downstream of Kura river

On August 10, increase in water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River. In this regard, 14 cm in Shirvan, 30 cm in Salyan, 24 cm in Banka while 1cm decrease in Surra, 4 cm in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.

At present, water level holds 317cm (on August 10, 2017, 352cm) in Surra settlement, 177cm (on August 10, 2017, 211) in Shirvan, 131cm (on August 10, 2017, 123cm) in Salyan, 201cm (on August 10, 2017, 183cm) in Banka, while 41cm (on August 10, 2017, 70cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.
