August 17, Fineko/abc.az. The next raid was held by the employees of the 5th Regional Ecology and Natural Resources Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to examine compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of environmental protection.

During the raid, 11 poplar trees were cut off in Garagurtlu village of Khachmaz region, 20-30 cm in diameter. During the investigation, the trees were cut off by the resident of Khachmaz region Nazim Abasov.  An act has been filed against the law-breaker and the nature was damaged in the amount of 2470 manats.

Since the amount of damages has been created, the materials collected have been sent to the Prosecutor's Office of Khachmaz for legal assessment of the issue and taking appropriate legal action against the accused.
