Mursal Rustamov appointed Chief Executive Officer of Caspian Energy Germany

August 27, Fineko/abc.az. Mursal Rustamov has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Caspian Energy Germany. First Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev said.

According to Telman Aliyev, Caspian Energy Germany will represent the interests and manage projects of the Caspian European Club, Caspian American Club, Caspian Asian Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group in Germany.

Mursal Rustamov was born on July 2, 1981. In 2002 he obtained a bachelor's degree in law from the Baku State University. Further, in the same university in 2004 he defended his master's degree in the specialty "Criminal law, criminal procedure, criminalistics and forensic examination". In 2008 he continued his education in the direction of the economy, graduating from the Master's Degree in “Finance and credit” at the Azerbaijan State Economic University. Until July 1, 2006 M. Rustamov held the position of a lawyer in the company "MP Consulting", which provides consulting services in financial and investment matters. Later, he worked as a specialist, coordinator, director of legal issues and insurance at OJSC “PAŞA Sığorta”. Since April 2009 he became the head of the internal audit service in the same company. From December 2010 to February 2017 he held the position of Chairman of the Board of “PASHA Life İnsurance” OJSC. Currently he is the Director and Head of the “Positive Consulting” LLC, as well as, from February 26, 2013 to the present day, Deputy Chairman of the Board of “ATİB”. Mursal Rustamov is married and has two children.

Mursal Rustamov thanked the senior management of the Club, noting that he would do his best to justify the rendered trust and promote the development of trade and economic ties between the private sector of Azerbaijan and Germany.

Caspian Energy Germany will keep the companies from the Caspian-Black Sea region informed and help them with entering the German market and assist the German companies in entering the Caspian-Black Sea region.

The Caspian European Club, Caspian, which brings together more than 5,000 member companies and organizations from 70 countries around the world, was established in June 2002 with the support of the largest oil and gas companies working in the Caspian-Black Sea region and with the active involvement of Caspian Energy International Media Group.

The Caspian American Club (established on 24 December 2016) and Caspian Asian Club (26 January 2018) will be managed by the Members of the Board of the Caspian European Club for 2 years. All companies that join the Caspian European Club as members get an automatic membership within the Caspian American Club, Caspian Asian Club and vice-versa.

His Excellency President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has been the Chairman of the Caspian European Club since its establishment.
