"Uzbekistan is not a member of the CCTS, but has been participating in its summits for several years. Uzbekistan's membership will be formalized in the near future, there is every reason for this," Amreev said at the end of the Council’s  summit in Cholpon-Ata in the north of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Secretary General, the next CCTS summit will take place in Azerbaijan. He, however, did not specify the date and the venue of the event.

Amreyev pointed out that several documents were signed following the summit in Kyrgyzstan. They are aimed at developing and increasing the level of cooperation between the member states of the Council.
