Free trade zone in Alat settlement to serve market with population of up to 130 million people

September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The free trade zone in the Alat settlement, which includes the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Iran, southern Russia and Turkey, will serve the market with the population of up to 130 million people.

The statement was made by First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov at Azerbaijan Competitiveness Forum 2018 held in Baku on 7 September.

The Deputy PM pointed out that Azerbaijan's location on the crossing of the North-South and East-West transport corridors makes it an international transport hub.
