September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received Milan Ekert, the newly-appointed ambassador of Czech Republic.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan informs that the ambassador presented a copy of his credentials to the FM.

“During the meeting, the sides viewed the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic and perspectives for further development. It was noted that there is great potential for further development of economic, trade and tourism relations between our countries,” the Ministry said.

Mr. Ekert emphasized that Azerbaijan is a reliable and strategic partner of Czech Republic in the region.

In his turn, Minister Mammadyarov wished the Czech ambassador every success in his future activities.
