Azerbaijan increased its electricity export for past 8 months

September 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug of the year Azerbaijan exported 1.26 bn kWh of electricity for $59.586 million.

The State Customs Committee reports that this indicator is by 55.6% more versus the 2017 same term (812.338 million kWh for $36,232).

"Currently, Azerbaijan exports electricity to Georgia, Turkey, Russia and Iran," the Committee informed.

Last year Azerbaijan exported 1.16 bn kWh for $50.968 million.
