September 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2018 Azerbaijan’s GDP amounted to AZN 50.5 bn that makes up 0.7% more versus the 2017 same term indicator

The State Statistics Committee informs that growth of non-oil GDP for Jan–Aug 2018 amounted to 0.9% and in the oil sector 0.4%.

GDP per capita for the past 8 months totaled AZN 5,153.1, less than last year by 0.2%.

During the reporting period a decline of 17.3% was observed in the construction sector.

Out of general GDP, 46.3% was produced due to industrial sector, 9.6% due to trade and repairs of transportation vehicles, 6.3% - construction, 6.4% - transport and storage facilities, 5.4% - agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 2.5% - accommodation of tourists and catering, 1.6% - information technology and communications, 14.0% - other industries.
