New-generation railcars from Russia to appear at Baku Metro

November 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Metro will sign a contract with Russia’s Metrovagonmash about delivery of new trains.

Baku Metro’s chief engineer Alikhan Osmanov has stated that the Baku metro has already purchased 15 railcars.

“We plan to buy from Metrovagonmash another modern new-generation cars of series 765, which are equipped with necessary technology, including systems of ventilation and air conditioning," Osmanov said.
