Kaspersky Lab: Since early year Azerbaijan has registered 5,500 cyberattacks

November 8, Fineko/abc.az. Company Kaspersky Lab has announced statistics of cyber attacks in Azerbaijan.

Head of the Baku-based representative office of Kaspersky Lab Mushfiq Mammadov, has stated that for the last 10 months 5,500 hacker attacks were registered among Azerbaijani users.

"According to statistics, 50 attacks account for every legal customer," Mammadov said.

He added that the main causes of cyber attacks are not only harmful software (or malware), but also lack of awareness among employees.
