September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Taxes is tightening control over the system of registration and accounting in the tax system.

Alakbar Mammadov, CEO of the Ministry’s Department of Control of State Registration & Accounting, has stated that his Department analyzed the situation with entrepreneurs evading registration.

"We’ve already identified persons who evade accounting, and submitted materials to tax authorities for taking appropriate measures in accordance with the legislation. As a result of the analysis of the situation, it was revealed that in 2016-2018 a number of economic entities that received licenses avoided tax accounting, and the discrepancy of accounting information was found out. There were also facts of evasion on the part of legal entities," Mammadov said.
