Entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan got soft loans for AZN 2.12 bn from state

October 2, Fineko/abc.az. So far 36,000 entrepreneurial projects have been financed in Azerbaijan by the government.
Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov has stated that total cost of the projects financed by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund (NESF) amounted to AZN 4.19 bn.

"The amount of lending totaled AZN 2.12 bn, out of which AZN 1 bn was allocated at the expense of the State Budget and the rest at the expense of the repaid funds. 72% of the projects account for agricultural projects," the deputy minister said. 

According to Mammadov, currently the NESF loan portfolio is AZN 1.08 bn.
