European giant rents ‘Natik Aliyev’ tanker for 2 years from Palmali

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's largest tanker named in honor of the late Energy Minister Natig Aliyev of Azerbaijan has taken the ocean course from the port of Tallinn.

Palmali Group’s press service reports that Tintrade, one of the largest European companies, rented the tanker for two years.

"A relevant contract on the occasion was signed between Palmali and Tintrade," Palmali says in a statement.

Under the contract tanker ‘Natik Aliyev’ will carry goods belonging to Tintrade, and the entire crew of the vessel will consist exclusively of citizens of Azerbaijan.

The vessel capable of sailing in ice conditions can transport four types of cargo, and was put into operation in a very short time after the death of Natig Aliyev.
