Yevgeny Dietrich: A road bridge across Samur River to be put into operation in 2019

October 8, Fineko/abc.az. The road bridge across the Samur River on the Russian-Azerbaijani border in Dagestan will be commissioned in 2019.

Transport Minister Yevgeny Dietrich of the Russian Federation told journalists during his working trip to Dagestan that the construction is on schedule.

"According to the schedule, bridge commissioning is scheduled for 2019, and I’m sure those terms will be met. It is quite possible that these terms could be even slightly reduced," the minister said.

The Protocol on the construction of the road bridge across the Samur River between Azerbaijan and Russia was signed in 2017.
