Azerbaijan’s customs introduces e-queue system

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) is taking measures aimed at improving the border crossing process.

Azer Abbasov, deputy head of the Main Department on Technological Innovations & Statistics, stated that an electronic queue system will be introduced at checkpoints with the purpose to prevent congestion.

"The presentation of the new system has already been held. The system will enable both to reduce the time of passage for citizens and simplify the work for employees of checkpoints," Abbasov emphasized.
