BHOS and George Washington University have trained more than 100 project managers

November 22, Fineko/abc.az. School of Project Management (SPM), which is a joint initiative of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and TwentyEighty Strategy Execution company (UK), offers Azerbaijani specialists internationally-recognized training course based on the curriculum of the Master’s program of the George Washington University (USA). Recently, it achieved one more milestone in its activities: in total, the number of the SPM graduates reached 100 persons.

The School of Project Management has all necessary conditions to provide national professionals with high-quality training in line with international standards. After completion of each study module, the trainees receive a corresponding certificate. Upon successful completion of the program, the SPM graduates receive Master certificates from the George Washington University.

“The opportunity to take further steps towards professional and career growth is another advantage gained by our students. One of the best examples of this is the fact that about 20 SPM graduates out of those trainees who received Master certificates on November 1, 2018, were promoted to higher positions within a short time,” says SPM Program Manager Narmin Akhmedova.

The curriculum of the School of Project Management comprises seven modules. The trainees study a number of subjects including, among others, Project Management, Leadership and Communications, Risk Management, Scheduling and Cost Control, Quality for Project Manager, and Negotiations Skills for Project Manager. All lessons are conducted by experienced teachers selected on a competitive basis by the managers of TwentyEighty Strategy Execution.
