Azerbaijan and BSTDB discuss Cooperation Strategy 2019-22

December 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov has received Dmitry Pankin, the new president of the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB).

The Ministry of Finance reports that Pankin arrived in Baku to participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

"During the meeting the sides covered the current state and expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the BSTDB, Bank’s Draft Medium-Term Strategy and Business Plan for 2019-20 and Azerbaijan Strategy developed on its basis for 2019-22," the Ministry said.

Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine and Armenia have been the BSEC founders since 1999. Bank’s authorized capital is €3.45 bn and the stockholder capital €2.3 bn. Azerbaijan's share in the Bank's stockholder capital is 5%.

Since its inception the Bank has allocated €339 million for implementation of 34 private sector projects in Azerbaijan.
