December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Analytical agency Turstat has presented the rating of the best CIS cities for New Year`s holiday and winter traveling of tourists in December and January 2019.

The Agency reports that Baku in the first Top 3 of the most popular tourist destination on the CIS area.

TOP 10 of CIS cities for Russian tourists’ tours this winter includes Minsk, Baku, Astana, Yerevan, Almaty, Tashkent, Bishkek, Chisinau, Dushanbe and Ashgabat.

According to Turstat, tourists come to cities and countries of the CIS in winter for an average of 3-5 days.

Russian tourists spend from $50 to $100 a day on accommodation and meals for winter tours to the cities and resorts of the CIS.

Tours to the ski resorts of Shymbulak near Almaty, Shahdag and Tufandag in Azerbaijan, Logoysk and Silichi near Minsk are most popular among tourists of the CIS countries.

The rating is based on the analysis of the popularity of tourist trips.
